As a Software Developer at U-Haul International, I worked across several teams and made a habit of introducing technologies that hadn’t been adopted yet — OData, AngularJS, the MEAN stack, and OAuth-secured REST APIs among them.

I was a high-performing contributor on a new store platform built on REST WebAPI, OAuth, and OData, and wrote the team’s first MEAN application after teaching myself the stack. I also played a strong hands-on role in building a central authentication service consumed by several of the company’s important client applications, with a moderate voice in its architecture. On U-Haul’s new HR site, I was the primary contributor on a two-step verification module for sensitive account changes — an implementation I later reused on a payroll application. I also worked on the team’s first full ASP.NET WebAPI and OData project, which led to a follow-on T4 template project that auto-generated an OData API directly from Entity Framework EDMX files.
