I’m a full-stack software engineer based in the Phoenix, Arizona area, with over a decade of experience across the whole stack — from writing my first production APIs at U-Haul International to serving as an architect for a segment of a national benefits marketplace platform.
Most recently, I spent eight and a half years at WTW (by way of Extend Health and Via Benefits), growing from a contract developer into a Software Architect. Along the way I led a team through several roles and spearheaded the finish line on the integration layer that let a legacy WPF call-floor app embed modern web micro-frontends, which included tracking down a years-old, “unsolvable” crash to a memory leak in a third-party package. I also helped steer a years-long effort to modernize a legacy, SQL-driven calculation engine into an event-driven system — a challenging, cross-team problem I enjoyed working through.
This year (2026) I designed, built, and launched Authored AI entirely solo — a marketplace where experts package their knowledge into paid AI agents. It was my chance to own every layer of a product end to end, from the .NET backend to Stripe billing to OpenAI-powered chat, and I loved it.
Now that it’s shipped, I’m looking for what’s next — eager to keep building, keep learning new tools, and bring that same drive to a new team. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, hiking, staying active, or chasing some other creative project.
