Authored AI is built on a simple premise: if AI is going to draw on someone’s expertise, that person should get paid for it.
It’s a custom AI marketplace built around two roles:
Authors package their knowledge into a unique AI agent, publish it to the marketplace, and earn money from every conversation that agent has with a customer.
Buyers get one-on-one access to AI agents built on the private, hard-won expertise of the rightful author — insight that isn’t just the Google-able consensus.
Once set up, an agent works around the clock, answering the same questions its author would otherwise field over and over — and paying them for each one.
The goal is to restore author compensation in the AI space — paying people for the knowledge AI draws on, and giving users confidence that the AI they’re talking to is fairly sourced.
I designed, built, and launched Authored AI entirely solo — a .NET backend and React frontend, with Stripe billing and OpenAI-powered chat.
